Day 1
Rishikesh to Joshimath (Drive: 250 km / 9 hrs)
Scenic mountain drive alongside the Ganga and Alaknanda valleys.
Day 2
Joshimath to Jumma & Trek to Ruing Village
Drive 45 km to Jumma then steady climb to Ruing village.
Day 3
Ruing to Dronagiri Village
Climb through dense forests and cross glacial streams to the highland village.
Day 4
Dronagiri to Bagini Base Camp
Cross the Dronagiri ridge into wide rocky riverbeds to reach base camp.
Day 5
Base Camp to Bagini Glacier / Changabang Base Camp & Return
Trek to the edge of the glacier with sublime views of Mt. Changabang.
Day 6
Bagini Base Camp to Ruing Village
Descend back through Dronagiri meadows to Ruing village.
Day 7
Ruing to Jumma & Drive to Rishikesh
Early morning walk down to Jumma and vehicle drive to Rishikesh.
